A busy family in West Boca is seeking a caring, organized, and experienced live-in Family Assistant to provide household support, transportation, errands, and pet care. The family has three teenagers and multiple beloved pets and is looking for someone dependable, proactive, and flexible who can help keep daily life running smoothly. The ideal candidate is warm, responsible, and genuinely passionate about animals, and enjoys becoming a trusted part of a family’s household.
Responsibilities:
• Provide daily household organization, including emptying the dishwasher and keeping common areas tidy.
• Organize and maintain the children's bedrooms, clothing, and personal belongings.
• Handle laundry and help keep bedrooms and closets organized.
• Assist with grocery shopping, putting away deliveries, and running household errands.
• Drive the children to and from school, appointments, activities, and occasional evening engagements.
• Provide attentive care for three cats and two dogs, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and helping with dog care.
• Provide general family assistance, including occasional meal preparation and other day-to-day household needs.
• Help with initial decluttering and organizing projects to establish effective household systems.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate changing family needs and occasional additional coverage.
• Provide a caring, supportive presence and anticipate household needs while respecting the family's privacy and independence.
Qualifications
• Genuine love for animals and experience caring for multiple pets, including dogs and cats.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; comfortable using the family's vehicle.
• Highly organized, proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Warm, compassionate, and trustworthy, with a service-oriented mindset.
• Strong references and ability to successfully complete background and driving record checks.
Schedule: Monday - Friday/Saturday (40-50 hours per week)
