In 2002, Nathalie and Steven Laitmon were approached to staff multiple residences for two high net worth, high-profile multigenerational families, who remain our clients to this day. The Calendar Group has since shaped the standards and best practices we see in private household staffing today, bringing to bear a new level of professionalism and resourcefulness.

Meet Our Founders
Nathalie Laitmon
Founder
Nathalie has been a thought leader and expert in the human capital talent and recruitment field for close to three decades. Intuition is her main tool; she connects people based on mutual goals and chemistry. Her strength lies in understanding and articulating the core dynamics and values of a household, corporate culture or individual.
After graduating from Cornell University’s ILR School in 1995, she consulted on global human capital consulting practices with Deloitte and Ernst & Young, delivering award-winning Employer-of-Choice programs to Fortune 100 companies and their employees. Selected to work in the Deloitte Office of the Chairman, Nathalie began witnessing first-hand the pressing demands on C-level executives.
Nathalie merged her growing interest in branding by joining Siegel and Gale, at the forefront of communicating brands at the employee level. She showcased her team-building skills at Solomon-Page Group by recruiting human resources and operations experts for prominent global organizations.
In 2002, Nathalie co-founded The Calendar Group alongside her husband Steven, where she cultivated a deep knowledge of her clients’ lifestyles and organizational cultures, finding them exceptional talent wherever and whenever they needed it. They were the first in their industry to suggest visiting clients in their homes and private offices, garnering a deep understanding of each individual’s personal needs and preferences.
The anchor for her family, household and business, Nathalie is a mother to three incredible children: Jadon, Aurelia and Apollo. In her spare time, she writes contemporary fiction and is represented by The Book Group. She also loves yoga, the beach, masterclasses and hikes with her furry friends, Romeo and Moby. She is a huge advocate of entrepreneurship and helping others launch their businesses or reinvent their brands.
Steven Laitmon
Founder
With a client-centric philosophy and exceptional listening skills, Steven has been passionately helping clients navigate complex transactions for over 20 years. His long-term client advocacy approach lends itself to relationships founded on longevity, trust and integrity. Furthermore, Steven is driven by his quick-paced resourcefulness and finding candidates for his clients who simply “get it.”
An attorney by trade, Steven attended Emory’s Goizueta School of Business before receiving his JD from Cardoza Law School. He began his career in the entertainment industry at United Talent Agency and Sony Music, where resourcefulness and a can-do attitude are the foundational, and practice law. He eventually produced the landmark, Emmy-nominated documentary, “The Untold Story of Emmett Louis Till,” which was cited as responsible for reopening the famous Civil Right case.
Steven is also a licensed real estate salesperson (with Luxe Latitudes of Compass) where he often refers Calendar Group clients looking to buy and sell their estates to the most trusted luxury brokers in their desired market. During his time with The Calendar Group, Steven has imbued on his employees his unique perspective on the five-star service experience their clients expect and deserve. With his lawyerly mind and process-oriented, risk-adverse mindset, Steven holds a significant, trusted presence with his clients.
Steven has resided in Los Angeles, New York City and Connecticut and now raises his family in Westport, where he has amassed a deep knowledge and broad network of the national High Net Worth Industry. He works in every city imaginable, and was one of the first to suggest personal visits to his clients’ homes and private offices. He prides himself on being a personal adviser in every aspect of staffing a high net worth individuals’ life, and a discreet confidante.
A proud family man, Steven has three amazing children (Jadon, Aurelia and Apollo) with his wife and business partner, Nathalie. In his leisure time, he loves discovering new restaurants and innovative snack brands, playing Wordle, working out every day and taking long walks with his dogs, Romeo and Moby. He is also a lifelong competitive tennis player and available to hit any time!

Jennifer Fernandes
Recruite
With nearly two years at The Calendar Group, Jennifer brings a unique and empathetic approach to recruitment, drawing from her previous experience as a nanny and her deep roots in a family immersed in the real estate industry. Originally from Central New Jersey, Jennifer now lives in Brooklyn. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina.
Jennifer values being part of The Calendar Group team, where she combines her interests and skills to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Her favorite part of the job is knowing that her efforts help create harmonious and happy home environments. She views the placement process as a puzzle she sets out to solve. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys yoga, live music, hiking, and traveling.
Flavia Zaffina
Recruiter and Operations
Flavia joined The Calendar Group in 2019 and enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and candidates. She considers it truly rewarding to connect both in long-term placements. She is focused on finding staff with the right skill set and personality fit to ensure a smooth operating household and corporate environment.
Flavia lives in Connecticut with her husband and two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and spending quality time with friends and family.
